Nailah Blackman has quietly dropped a new track, ‘Dangerous Boy’.
Produced by Anson Soverall and written by Nailah, the chill, laid-back track takes us back to Nailah’s original sound before entering the soca scene and includes elements of reggae, ska, electro-pop and dub-step, reminiscent of Rihanna’s ‘No Love Allowed’ and ‘Man Down’.
Nailah is set to take the main stage at South by South West today (March 17), performing on the “Sounds From Africa & The Caribbean” stage, the only Caribbean artiste, performing alongside some of the biggest AfroBeats artistes and DJs.
From there, she’ll embark on an extensive tour spanning the Caribbean, the United States and Europe.
‘Dangerous Boy’ is currently on repeat for us. What do you think of her latest single?
