A Nailah Blackman clothing line is on the way

Nailah Blackman‘s personal style has become as synonymous with her brand as her distinct voice and sound.

Soon, she’ll be sharing her sense of fashion with the world with her upcoming clothing line, Sokah Gyal.

The More Sokah singer subtly announced her upcoming line on Friday via Instagram. In the post, she wore a flared capri and a halter crop top in a tropical green and floral pattern with coral stilettos.

It isn’t the first time she’s teased her upcoming collection. She wore a yellow tribal print high-waisted shorts with a ruffled crop top at Coachella back in April. Most recently, she wore tan coloured slacks and matching crop top at Ubersoca Cruise in early November.

Nailah has been hinting at a clothing line for some time. It was in a 2018 interview with Caribbean Beat that she first indicated that she’d be launching a line called Sokah, one formerly owned by her mother, Abbi Blackman.

The move is very reminiscent of Rihanna who, unbeknownst to the masses, openly wore pieces from her inaugural Fenty clothing line collection before officially announcing her collaboration with luxury brand LVMH.

Nailah hasn’t made an official announcement about when a collection will drop and the Instagram page for the line doesn’t currently have any posts but there’s a strong possibility that she may launch it in time for her concert, Sokah Origins, carded for December 7. If she does, the collection will come in great time ahead of the 2020 Carnival season.

Follow Sokah Gyal for updates on the when the line will drop.
